Get involved
Four doors in. All of them open.
Our concerts run on volunteers, our stages run on local musicians, our classrooms run on mentors, and none of it runs without partners. Pick the one that fits.
Volunteer
Our concerts run on volunteers.
It's the easiest way to get involved and the fastest way to become part of this. No experience needed for most roles. Show up once and you'll know the whole crew.
Perform with us
We're always listening.
If you're a musician or ensemble in Carson or the surrounding area, we want to know about you.
We review submissions on a rolling basis and program the season roughly a season in advance. We pay our artists.
Student enrollment
No audition. No experience. No cost.
Next Generation Jazz is free to participate in, and we lend the instrument. If a young person in your life is interested, that is the entire qualification.
If you're interested, apply. We'll take it from there.
Partner with us
Schools, businesses, venues, and organizations.
We bring professionally produced programming, paid teaching artists, and production capacity. You bring a room, a classroom, a referral channel, or support. Tell us what you have in mind.
Support the music
A student is waiting on an instrument that has not been bought yet.
That is not a metaphor. It is the actual state of the lending library. Donations pay working musicians, hold free seats for students and seniors, put instruments in young players' hands, and record the elders while there is still time. In that order.
